Filament Dryer Death Trap

So, drying filament with a nice automatic machine seems a better idea than struggling the hard way with ovens and such.

Enter the [name supressed] from [brand supressed], a fine-looking device.  Within a few days the helpful device decided to leave the heating element on all the time, even when powered off at the control panel. I suspect a FET had failed, and while the unit was "off" there was still power across the heating circuit, and the failed FET just ran it flat out.

Sent back and replaced with a Sovol unit with better marketing words around safety design.  It does a better job (better seals) in any case, although way less sleek.
